Ariel Hernandez Roque, the Royal Chapel of Madrid
La Orquesta de la Capilla Real de Madrid, under the command of Oscar Gershensohn, come back tomorrow to the Auditorium. And, as in recent times will be joined by the Boys Choir 'Lion City' directed by David de la Calle. On this occasion, the code, one of the masterpieces of Mozart 'Requiem'. Next to the Chapel, will be speaking the voices of Inma Pérez (soprano), Marta Infante (mezzo-soprano), Pau Bordas (bass-baritone) and Ariel Hernandez (tenor).
The Royal Chapel Madrid, known for having among their voices with the prime minister's wife, Sonsoles Espinosa, is a vocal and instrumental ensemble founded in 1992 by Oscar Gershensohn. Since then he has developed an outstanding work in the field of interpretation of early music on period instruments, addressing the repertoire of European music from the XVI, XVII and XVIII.
Chapel Auditorium has acted on several occasions, as in December 2008 when he premiered the oratorio 'Judas Maccabaeus', or in April 2009 with a program devoted to Sephardic music.
As before, the Royal Chapel will accompanied by the Boys Choir 'Lion City', as part of the Municipal School of Music, Dance and Performing Arts and directed by David Calle.
The Choir has its origins in ancient Cathedral Schola Cantorum de León, founded in 1982 with the aim of promoting choral singing in an educational dimension, cultural, musical, and human. All this has been passed down to children León who, year after year as they integrate into it. It consists of twenty-five children selected from twenty-two children's choirs of the city, which are the Municipal Choir Classrooms also fifteen adult singers (countertenor, tenor and low).
