Here I will show the conversion of a common electric bass to fretless.
below you can see the instrument in its original state, which also had broken as you can see part of the end of fingerboard:




Starting Take the dishes:





after removing the dishes, we went to the reaparacion of the broken end of the fingerboard:



now disarm the handle and give it corrected the fretboard:
now, we already have the fingerboard rectified, we are ready to fill the slots left the frets. in this case use thin slices of walnut, to prepare especially for entering each of the slots:

after the glue is dry, we remove the surplus wood and become to correct and polish the wood:

to finish we pass a little linseed oil:


and repair completed:
