Last week, as every year, hundred art galleries in Zurich welcomed the new season of exhibitions. For three days and shifts divided by geographical proximity were opened up later, which is unusual in a city that everything closes early.

Among the must-see, are, for example, two related to Russian art, especially that of Valery Yurlov, which rarely have the opportunity to access abroad. The Gallery Nadja Brykina Di exposes the Aryan a contractor ar Valery Yurlov (Kazakstan, 1932), with drawings, engravings, paintings and other objects, and an illustrated catalog. It is considered a great conceptualist and maverick of Russian art in the second half of the twentieth century.

The maverick who wanted to live with artistic freedom were persecuted, imprisoned and depressed. Thus arose a parallel world that only worked on the underground and talk to each other as they could, and under great risk and fear of being discovered.
In the 50's, and within the framework of Realism Socialist, decides to work independently and design a unique style of geometric shapes (triangular, circular and drops) and analyzes the composition of his paintings as a symbol. In mid-1960 Yurlov developed his ideas of Trinidad (top photo 1) , and his theory of Forms pairs. In the first case were the differences, and the second harmony, emphasizing his opposition. 
the late 60's to early 70's worked extensively on sketches for sculptures made of cables, wires, electrical switches referred to the issue of communication. Some of these subsequently developed them.
